How returns, exchanges, and refunds work at ComtelQ8 Mobile — in full compliance with Kuwaiti consumer law.

We're dedicated to a premium shopping experience that leaves you completely satisfied. If you wish to return or exchange a product, or request a refund, we're here to help every step of the way.

01General Return and Exchange Policy

In accordance with Kuwait Consumer Protection Law No. 39/2014, customers have the right to return or exchange a product within 14 days from the date of receiving the item, subject to the following terms:

Proof of purchase

The original invoice or receipt must be presented for all returns, exchanges, and refund claims. A valid photo ID (such as a Civil ID) may be requested.

Product condition

The product must be unopened, unsealed, and in its original, brand-new condition.

Packaging and accessories

Returned products must be in their original packaging, including all warranty cards, user manuals, codes, protection films, and bundled accessories.

Promotional items & bundles

If you purchased an item as part of a bundle or a promotion, any complimentary "Free Items" or gifts received with the purchase must also be returned in their original, unused condition. If free items are missing or unsealed, their retail value will be deducted from your total refund amount.

Right of denial

ComtelQ8 Mobile reserves the right to deny or apply a restocking fee to any return or exchange request that fails to comply with the above criteria or shows signs of user damage, alteration, or abuse.

02Non-Returnable and Non-Exchangeable Items

Due to their nature and under the guidelines of Kuwait's Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the following items are strictly exempt from returns and exchanges unless a clear manufacturing defect is proven by an official technical report:

  • Digital goods — any type of digital cards, vouchers, or activation codes (e.g., iTunes, PlayStation Network, Xbox, Google Play, Steam, etc.)
  • Opened software & games — computer software, operating systems, or video games once the seal or plastic wrapping has been broken
  • Consumables & personal items — batteries, certain power banks, microphones, and inner ear-wear (hygiene reasons)
  • Damaged or missing items — any product that has been visibly abused, dropped, altered, or is missing structural accessories (such as remote controls, charging bricks, cables, or cords)
03The Return and Refund Process

To initiate a return or exchange, please follow these steps:

  1. Pack the product. Place the item back into its original shipping package and box, ensuring it is packed securely.
  2. Include all materials. Ensure all original internal packaging materials, manuals, and loose accessories are inside.
  3. Visit a service center. Bring the package along with your original invoice to any authorized ComtelQ8 Service Center / Showroom in Kuwait.
  4. Technical inspection. Our specialists will inspect the device. If eligible, an official inspection report will be generated.
  5. Refund initiation. Submit the technical report to our customer service desk to initiate your refund.
04Refund Methods and Timelines

Payment alignment

Refunds are processed strictly using the same mode of payment selected during the initial checkout (e.g., K-Net, Visa, Mastercard).

Cash on Delivery (COD) refunds

For orders paid via Cash on Delivery, refunds will be issued via bank transfer to a local Kuwaiti bank account matching the name on the invoice.

Processing time

Once verified and approved by our expert team, bank card refunds typically take 7 to 14 business days to reflect in your account, depending on your bank's billing cycle and electronic settlement regulations in Kuwait.
